So what test are they using.? My husband had surgery yesterday and he said they stuck a swab up his nose for a rapid covid test.
Sorry, I am not an expert so I don't know. However, in the UK they can use lateral flow tests.
I believe that some pregnancy tests are also lateral flow tests and these days many would say that it is wise to check whether your husband is pregnant or not!
