“The” song? There are two. “The Prisoner” from Change of Mind of course but also “Back in the Village” from Powerslave. “We’re burning brighter than before / I don’t have a number, I’m a name!”
(Other refs in that song to Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling, the third to last of … oh, is it 17? Yes it is… Prisoner episodes.)
Great show. One of the themes of the show is that the people at the top of both sides are working together. Agents from MI6 and KGB seem to be part of the same team.
Number Two : What in fact has been created? An international community. A perfect blueprint for world order. When the sides facing each other suddenly realize that they're looking into a mirror, they'll see that this is the pattern for the future.
Number 6 : The whole world as the Village?
Number Two : That is my dream.
There are layers within layers … possibly even allegory.
He was the villain on a couple of Columbo shows as well. He did a fabulous job on those shows as well, and even Directed one of the shows. Class act all the way.
"I AM NOT A NUMBER, I AM A FREE MAN!!!!"
Awesome show. The remake wasn't that bad, but the original kicks ass. The Iron Maiden song about the show is also one of my favorites.
A few months back, I created this meme: The Fren. Number 1776

Great series. Patrick McGoohan did a great job in that. He was the main actor in Danger Man as well.
He was my first ever crush!

If you’re going there, he’s also the evil king in Braveheart.
John Drake? That would be telling.
With Lonely, the smelly grass.
Remember watching some as a kid. Didn't get it. Time for another look.
That’s common. Now you’ll be wondering how he knew.
Definitely. Said the same thing days ago.

I also won’t spoil it but watch through “Fall Out” and wonder who really represses each 1 of us.
(In case you didn’t guess, TP is the origin of this handle. Be seeing you.)
Weren’t there big white blobs that chased you down and swallowed you up? Memories not clear but they creeped me out as a kid.
That’s “Rover” which outside of the show mythology is a weather balloon filmed backwards. Long story.
