Full frontal assault on the Yanks. Troops so exhausted they were trampled and stuck getting crushed into their bushes, brush, rock, dirt and finally ground if they made it to it. Seven bodies deep in the fields. Trenches were running with blood so much they drowned anyone that couldn’t stand…which hundreds were left standing dead, because they had no place to fall and die.
