While technically correct, that is never the intention when people say that dumb ass phrase.

If everyone wants to keep looking stupid, that's their choice. However I see constant complaining about how we look dumb with theories... well... we also look dumb when we try to pass something off as legitimate by claiming "You can't make this up". You most certainly CAN make it up.
