There are certain events that occur in this world that, upon coming across them, make absolutely zero sense to the rational mind. The aforementioned example forces the non-Comms Aware to reconcile that millionaires are simply, stupid, and throw tremendous amounts of money away.
Another example. "GEICO may have to pay $5.2 million to a woman who got an STD in an insured car". This headline makes no rational sense. It is instead, a Comm.
Per your example, people are always trying to work the system to their advantage. If they can commit insurance fraud for a big payout and get away with it, many will.
Years ago, people filed many lawsuits against McDonalds for making their coffee hot. When these people spilled it on themselves and got burned, they didn't take responsibility for their action, they saw the opportunity to get money from a major international corporation and took advantage of it.
Not everything is a comm.
Wait, did you just use the most infamous example of a "frivolous lawsuit" that was proven to be 1000% legitimate? The woman's skin melted off and needed skin grafts.
