What I guess I'm struggling to say here is - yes, one would be amazed at the workings of the markets. It's been a greasy cesspool for decades with all of the leveraged derivative shenanigans, but at its core fundamental analysis gives the clearest picture of a company's health. This headline indicates a deeply unhealthy company. Ask yourself why a grocery chain is THIS reliant on pharmaceutical income for profitability. Then answer is likely broad mismanagement of all of their other operations. IE. They have adjusted their operations to account for an influx of essentially "free" money from the pharmacy arm. Puns intended.
