A friend of mine lives outside Los Angeles in one of those garbage desert towns. He woke up at 4am to a knock on his door and it was his neighbor who said he'd just chased off a guy trying to steal his catalytic convertor and threw rocks at the guys truck. They laughed about it and went about their lives.
That night super late at night somebody in a similar truck rolled up and hurled two molotov cocktails at their front door. My friend got the fire put out pretty quickly with his extinguisher he keeps in the kitchen. From outside they heard all kinds of yelling. It turned out the dude was rushing so hard to get away that he flipped his truck in the swale outside the house. The driver broke his leg in the rollover and was pinned in the truck while my friend and his neighbor laughed as the cops showed up. He was an illegal in a stolen truck!
The guy got arrested, and they found a bunch of cats and the cutting tools. But, the dude wound up getting off and not being convicted. A few months later my friend came home from work and the house was burnt down, complete with his dog inside. Police never made an arrest and said they had no proof it was the same guy.
This makes me sad.
This really pisses me off.
Oh no, that's sad. When bad guys get off it only encourages them.
Fucking California.
California needs to be broken up into seperate states, it's not fair that California covers 90% of the west coast and the shit is run by dickhole democrats.
Yeah, well, that's the utopia they've built in CA for you.
That sucks.
I had a friend in So Ca that owned a classic VW van in very nice condition. One day he was sideswiped and the car that hit him continued to drive away. The entire side of the van was damaged. Because of the age of his vehicle, he knew there was no way his own insurance would pay for the damages. He managed to chase down the vehicle that hit him - it was being driven by an illegal. My friend was born in Mexico and was legally in the US. So he knew this guy didn't have a license or insurance. Understandably my friend was pissed and wanted to know who was going to pay for the damage on his van.
As the argument got more heated there was some physical contact. Some concerned citizen called the police. When the police arrived my friend thought for sure there would be some kind of justice. At least the illegal would be arrested for driving without a license, hit and run, and no insurance. He thought for sure the illegal's vehicle would be impounded - so even though it would not pay for the damage on his van, at least he could have the satisfaction that the guy wouldn't get to just walk away. Boy was he wrong. The police instead arrested my friend for assault and let the illegal go. He spent the weekend in jail. The charges were later dropped and he paid to have his van fixed.
No wonder these people come here. They know they can pretty much get away with murder and our system will not hold them accountable. It seems like a good time for frontier justice to be making a comeback.
they should have taken care of the problem and buried the remains in that desert.
