The key here is understanding that this was never about Republicans versus Democrats. It has always been a uniparty control behind the scenes. The two party charade has been there for public consumption to give the impression that we had some kind of choice when in reality we did not. This is why for so long we went to the polls, held our noses, and voted for the candidate that we thought was the lesser of two really bad choices. The establishment Republicans are just as corrupt and are playing the same game. The establishment, both R and D, both cheat. As long as we continue to play the game, they will continue to herd us to wherever they want us to go.
MAGA is breaking that uniparty control and it scares the crap out of them - especially when Dems and Independents leave their respective plantations along with the Republican rank and file that are revolting. This is what was started by the Tea Party Movement. Sadly, Obama and company was able to shut them down by using the IRS. We need to be smarter and learn the lessons. There are ways around how organizations are structured that eliminate that kind of government control. Why are we so shocked when we find out they are not playing by the rules - their rules or our rules? This is where we continue to make mistakes. We need to become a lean mean fighting machine and expect the unexpected.
This is war and we need to see the entire situation for what it is. Party affiliation is an illusion that keeps us under their thumb. As long as we continue to think in terms of a two party system it will keep us divided as Americans. We must take over the Republican Party and turn it MAGA. Then we can bring others under that umbrella to fight the establishment swamp monsters. Then we will be a power to be reckoned with.
I see these things as a process and in increments. Democrats on the whole did not think their party cheats. When they found evidence in 2000 Mules etc. their eyes began to open. I agree that MAGA is a threat to the establishment and they are a uniparty, but of the 2 parties the one more salvageable are the Republicans and Trump is exposing the RINOs and cleaning it out.
Agreed. Of the two parties, the Republican party is the most logical to recreate because its platform is closest to our beliefs - even though most of the establishment RINOs do not adhere to it. The advantage for us is as you said, many of the Dems are waking up to the corruption. For many of them, they have realized that their party left them long ago and has been hijacked by lunatics. It no longer is the party of JFK. However, we must also realize that it will be very difficult for a large number of them to actually change affiliations to Republican.
We must work hard to make the Republican Party something that can be a home for them and us. We do have a large tent and we do represent the views and beliefs of the average American. Unfortunately, we have done a poor job of getting that message across. But, I do see that tide turning. As we bring more homeless Dems onboard, they are helping to get the message out to other Dems and Independents that the Republican Party is changing - even if the establishment doesn't like it. They are losing control and it is only a matter of time before they are weeded out. As you stated, it will be done in increments - one RINO at a time.
The RNC has been hijacked by RINOs. Case in point: I donated to RNC based on their solicitation it would help Trump's fight against the election fraud back in 2020. That was a ruse, using the Trump name. I will not donate to them ever again. Since that time, RNC has sent several more solicitations. I shredded the letter and sent that back.

A total rebuild of RNC would be needed,

Glad you learned the hard lesson that the RNC is corrupt. When George Bush Jr. stated "Give me an amnesty bill and I will sign it" I was shocked.
