There is a LOT we have been lied to about and Christianity as a whole bears the blame for this deception in perpetuation the status quo. Of all the churches I attended in my lifetime, only one comes to mind that every came close to teaching about the real enemies in power and even then it was a guest speaker sharing their efforts to combat human trafficking. The rest was always the same recycled talking points on Sunday then back to being a casual sinner the rest of the week... the evils of the derp state I learned from other, non religious sources.
But how could this be? Christianity insisted they were the good guys, fighting the good fight! No... they were there to prop up religion as a distraction. They reminded people, "well sure, you're not rich right now, but god has you working you 9-5 bullshit job for a reason! You're poor for a reason! You're tired of struggling? Did you hear about this Job guy? He had it way worse so you need to calm down. Oh by the way, don't forget your 10% tithe to us." I know it's hard to accept and while Communism is a shit system and not a functional or practical government system, Marx wasn't wrong to call out what he did. And his ideas were inevitable. The church teaches compliance and conformity just to their specific version. And the control goes beyond Christianity. I mean Islamic fundamentalism is easy to see and understand how it keeps the masses dumbed down.
But ultimately, you are correct. When I say the phrase "tree" what happens? You think of a tree. You manifest an image in your mind. Thoughts and words do have more power than people want to give credit for- especially religious types with a creepy obsession to control others and their lifestyles. To what extent, I know not. But I definitely don't think of my thoughts as insignificantly as I was taught to.
Fren you are trapped in an occult teaching that is not godly and will lead you to hell. I suggest you find a solid church that does not teach the prosperity gospel.
Thoughts and words matter. We are told to resist the devil. But positivity = power is the masonic Law of Attraction that teaches you will be like God, instead of submitting to His will.
It is the exact same as the "secular" social media gospel. Ignore everything bad in life, ignore the people warning you of hell, ignore the cabal controlling the world, ignore sex trafficking, all of that is not real...manifest a better future where you are happy. That is living in the matrix fren.
"The single greatest cause of Atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and then deny him by their lifestyle."
How convenient for your argument to gloss over what I say and respond with a very canned and contrived response. Church is just another center of indoctrination full of people who think they're with people who think exactly the same as they do (except non denoms, they seem to have more respect for individuality)
If you actually read my post, you'd see I called out the "ignore the bad" delusional way of thinking in favor of embracing honesty and truth. Anyone who seeks to hide the truth indefinitely are the ones blinded by Satan. You'll find I'm the exact. I'm just not nice about delivering the truth.
What about my response is canned or contrived? I spoke from the heart. You equate your church experience with the church as a whole, I am telling you that is not the case.
My church is full of people who think differently than me. I think differently than my pastors I am very sure of that. Read the Bible and discern.
