Seriously, telegram is a huge resource hog and I have long since nuked it from my phone.
Maybe this is why my battery has been dying at a faster rate...
Yeah, honestly it probably is. That app is terribly written.
To be fair though you can go into its settings and prevent it from gobbling up space and bandwidth. Works fine after you do that.
I guess the user interface design team has high speed internet and assumes everyone else also does.
BC has a legitimate Telegram, but they also are active on their Substack.
I never installed it. Apps pose too many security risks so I limit what I put on my phone.
