I am (it may have even been noticed here) an "exceedingly direct" person. People just can't handle this. They can't handle someone that sees right through shit, gets to the point - and will say it straight up even if they don't say a word (I could never play poker in a million years).
Trump has this same maximum directness, so I can see how it turns a lot of people off. But the problem is still really the people - they are too soft to handle reality - because they need people who will help them stay in their comfort zone, no matter how wrong they are about whatever, or how many contradictions this requires they maintain.
Trump is also unafraid to actually simply be rude to those who are asking for it (e.g. lame leftist fake news press). (Shockingly enough, I share this trait as well.)
So, I think this is probably about a good 1/3 of it. The rest I'd say is simple - the media, which has FOREVER been against him in some respect (even though the knives weren't out like once he announced for Pres, there is no shortage of hit pieces if you go searching for say his "mistakes" in business, or bankruptcies, or whatnot from way back).
Edit: I and many others would probably pay good money for videos of you bitch-slapping soy boys. Get Steve Inman to commentate. Investor number one, right here
Edit 2: I should say "normal people just can't handle this" - one thing great about the GAW community is a shit load higher "maximum direct" percentage and there is plenty of leeway in "stay respectful." It's healthy.

I mean, same. I broke free from the human nature of conformity long ago, and I have been further er.. "evolved" to not giving a shit about what most people think about me or my opinions after these past couple years in particular.
Being direct and blunt can come off crass, which Trump himself knows he can be, and it is desirable for some traits and positions and not others.
In particular I think people aren't used to having a president actually say what he thinks and communicating with the American people, so it excites people like us and upsets normies and enrages leftists.
Being direct to the point where some people might think it's rude is a common trait among native New Yorkers. We don't find it rude, and in fact, we find not being direct to be annoying and deceitful. Trump speaks like a native New Yorker, because he is one.
The media may act like this isn't normal behavior, but if you spent any amount of time in New York, you'd find this behavior to be typical.

Agree, nice addition here.
So it takes you 15 seconds to say when others take 5 minutes. We would get along just fine, fren.
Pfft, hey it took me like 3 minutes to write that, give me a break!
"Don't be sorry, just talk faster."
