Independent contractor. My clients do not pay for separate phone. I have to have about 4 different authorization applications to connect to different VPNs. You suggestion is still valid though to separate any cell that does business from private cell.
A year ago, doctors office required me to install WhatsApp in order to do virtual appointment. I took one look at privacy statement and refused.
Good on you. You're the man. And being such, we should all know how to improvise and find alternatives. "I don't need no stinkin' cell phone." I was always mesmerized by the movie - "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" with Humphrey Bogart. IMHO, this would be a great remake for a movie. Anyway, I digress.
The following I recently said to my 2 boys, who have Smart phones. Yea, it's a problem. I don't know any parents who are not concerned about this. Ever watch the 1990s "Star Trek Next Generation" called -- "The Game". It's worth considering if you want to learn what cell phones are doing to kids. Anyway, I told my boys to consider what Americans felt back some 150 years when the government opened up land grants in the west. I told them thousands of people lined up with their limited belongings to race out west to stake their claim. I said their entire thoughts was the opportunity to find good land to feed their families and to plant their crops. There was both excitement and anxiety of the unknown. I'm sure all of them were aware of the Indian threat too. Yet, they still proceeded believing God would provide them both safety and bounty.
If kids today, including my own, had the same opportunity of staking out a land grant they wouldn't even be in line to take the opportunity. What does this have to do with cell phones? Well, let me now tell you about the Allegory of Plato's Cave.
