Gemma O'Doherty is the prime mover behind the paper. She's the #1 "Truther" in Ireland, having no peers. She's withstood more defamation, physical attacks and complete and utter censorship than any other.
Definitely a small, "fringe" paper. When I searched the name in Brave the first article about the paper was an Independent article calling it an "anti-vaccination paper peddling conspiracy" so that shows you how it's received by the MSM
Most people in Ireland won’t have heard of it, much less read it sadly. Gemma O’Doherty was a very respected journalist, then started reporting more & more on stories deemed… fringe. So her reputation is gone & she’s now considered… very fringe. Ireland is incredibly blind/propagandised. You really have to experience it to believe in some ways - I’ve found it impossible to get most of my pre-Covid friends to question. Eyes glaze over. They parrot the press mantras. I’ve met pockets of awake people since 2020, but my pre-Covid friends are all asleep. I can count the ones that I can talk to about this stuff on one hand.
Thanks, OP. I don't know much about newspapers in other countries... is Irish Light credible? Well-received? Largely read?
Is ther an American paper you'd compare it to, just to provide a benchmark? Thanks

I'm in England so we'll have to see if any Irish frens can verify.
Take a look at the other headlines in the photo, that should give you an idea of how mainstream they are.
