I remember this screenshot from December 2021. It's not an accurate number and I confirmed that myself without a fact-checker telling me what to think.
Someone else posted this in the thread and it's what I remember discovering on my own-
I'm fairly certain this screenshot went viral on Twitter in December 2021 and wasn't censored immediately for the express purpose of it being debunked by "fact-checkers."
tl;dr When a fact-checker gets it right, you know they planted the information in the first place. Kek.
Former ALPA member here. This article is accurate. It is a monthly publication. A name is only listed once. Once listed, they will never post it again, hence the low numbers for previous years.
30 year ALPA member here. This list in the ALPA magazine comes from family members that send in to cancel the subscription. Family let the subscription run for years after the pilots death just because of this death list to keep track of old friends in the industry. Dont read anything into this list beyond that
It could very well be that stats for 2019 are also included on the other page. Not that I disagree deaths are likely higher in 2020, but trying to be realistic
Pilot shortages are blamed on lots of things....but never the shot. Always, there is an excuse available that people will hold onto because it might be reasonable.

I don't trust rueters, but here is their explanation

Awwww, I always wondered how the names were submitted. The arbitration of it makes sense now.
So just a coincidence that they all waited till 2021 to report then?
Possibly. More likely that particular issue had a few more than any other monthly issue. Every month the dead list fills about 1/2 a page.
The right column has 3 guys that flew for Flying Tigers. Flying Tigers hasnt existed since 1988?
No i think its probablyacoincidence
ALPA has tweeted how they count theses deaths (info from family members).
To blame low numbers in 2019 and 2020 and high numbers in 2021 on the Covid vaccine is wrong according to the source of the picture.
The vaccine is truly the devil’s elixir, but this picture is not a proof of that.

A lotta Delta on that list.

This is from last year, right? Why are you posting old information as if it's new?
What is this source in the photo? It almost looks like a magazine or some other publication.
Air Line Pilot Magazine.
