What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
A reflection
Thanks to the mod who stickied mah post: "The Epstein Connection: The Other Side of Bitcoin No One is Talking About!!! Anons Need to Know This!!!"

I'm happy and proud that the discussion under this thread has a good number of comments in which upvotes and downvotes are competing at full throttle.
To me it seems one of the prime purposes of the board should be to inspire and stimulate discussion and debate on significant areas of interest. I get the feeling that, at least to some extent, the post was successful in that.
However, not unexpectedly, much of the post discussion boiled down to a "bitcoin/crypt is good, bitcoin/crypto is bad" tit-for-tat and almost NO ONE addressed the core theme: that Epstein's scum is all over Bitcoin, in spades. You'd think a Q board would be kinda interested in that particular angle. (A few pedes said that even raising the Epstein factor is FUD, and proceeded to dismiss it out of hand without even addressing the facts! But I digress...)
I'm pretty new to the subject. There will be a ton of pedes out there who know more about crypto and bitcoin than I ever will. And I prolly made some lame statements in my post. But that's Ok, because I'm not attempting to assert myself as some authority or knower in the area, and ..... discussion.
I intend to follow up the topic with more detailed posts covering content from the actual podcasts, which it appears most of the commenters have NOT listened to, and most of the objectors to statements in the post itself have no knowledge of. Again, not unexpected. At least a discussion was begun.
The post was pretty long. And people are rather heavily (ahem) invested in the topic.
One reason bitcoin is not going to be the answer is that 99% of all bitcoin is held by 1% of the people, and they're all related to a fellow named Blackrock. It would be like having everybody move to Greenland only to discover that it's all owned and you can only be a serf on some feudal lord's estate. And tether is another good reason, but that gets complicated. It was a good post, but a lot of people have very entrenched minds.
Thanks for the response, A.
"the post was pretty long" Hehe. That's either my great strength, or my fatal flaw. I find it hard to do short and snappy (pithy) posts that garner the quick energy of the board. But also, I'm less interested in those. I like to flesh out and work through logic, ideas, thinking etc. Being trained in academic paper writing doesn't help I guess.
"people are rather heavily (ahem) invested in the topic" Yeah, that's for sure. And, I don't really mind that. I'm looking forward to posting more and might make this a series. At least, to give the topic a good airing.
I was against crypto because it's used by criminals but it's difficult as anything not controlled by deep state government all be used by them.
I saw your post. TLDR.
JK. 😅
But seriously, I saw it after a lonnnng day and honestly couldn't muster the energy to critically read it. That's all on me. Because quite frankly everything your mentioned in your topic is of interest to me. Economics, in general, especially. Unfortunately, my understanding of crypto is an admitted weakness in my education, limited to my basic belief that it's tangible value is very ... questionable, and I am not the type to get into reading something that I know will be challenging AND interesting when I'm not equipped to do so.
I'm writing this between coffee, phone calls and a toddler. Hope it made sense.
In summary I was "scared" to read it as I value your posts (specifically) for their thoughtfulness. o7
Mr_A gave you a pretty good response too. 😉
Thanks 335,000.
Suggest skipping my post and just listening to the podcasts. I tend to do that when I'm 'erranding' out of the house. I rip videos into audio and just listen as I drive from wherever to wherever. Rarely listen to videos etc when at my desk.
TLDR.... bwahahaha. Nah, it's good to get feedback. I think I can improve on that. (Probably 50% of the post was extraneous to the main theme, which is Epstein connection and the podcasts....
