It is insane that they're pushing for everyone to put pronouns in their bio in an attempt to make the very few people who actually "need" to put pronouns in their bio feel normal.

That is an insane way to approach problems. Instead of "be yourself, even if you're different," we're teaching "make everyone else be different, so you can seem normal."

Imagine having a person with tourrettes in your office, so your manager insists that everyone randomly shouts expletives to make him feel normal.

Except it's worse than that. Imagine not having a person with tourrettes in your office, but your manager insists that everyone randomly shouts expletives, just in case.
