Here is a little twist... What Biden could gain from pardoning Trump... The Justice Department could indict Trump. Before Trump could start his defense Biden could pardon him for "the good of the country" Is the Washington Post getting the country ready for that BS? (thewashingtonpost.pressreader.com)

I don’t know for a fact, but I would assume so. I would say, “no thank-you.” “My reputation is more important than a pardon for something I did not do. I want to go to trial.“
