We are all from different parts of the world with different walks of life. At the peak of the vaccine mandate, things got really intense--especially in some parts of the world. I had no social pressure from friends or family, but there were was some with my career.
The place I work at sent out a letter saying that vaccination was required for further employment. I began sending out job applications, and got an interviewed for a job that I really wanted, but they said I had to get vaccinated. At that time, I realized how much the pressure sucked for those I was reading about in the news. Very thankful now I never took the vaccine.
What is your story? Did you ever consider taking the vax?
My work was asking for vaccine status because under gov contractor/vendor rules they were saying I had to get vaxxed. That's pretty fucked up isn't it? You sell us shit so were going to need you to take all of your employees and have then put this injection into their bodies changing them forever. It angers me the most that my work and all employers didn't realize shit like that is a red line and should be an instant nope.
I just ignored them and kept working. Nobody challenged me on it. I was prepared, with information from here, to explain the idiocy of it all but never needed to.
Same with my jorb. I waited and expected the same, but they just left the whole subject alone for my crew and shift. Didn't even bother us with masks except for the first few weeks the C19 circus went mainstream.
