They thought this was regarding 18... So did we... Maybe "disinfo is necessary" doesn't pertain to direct lying... But moreso to misdirection?
If Q is working with Jesus, I have to assume that there's no lying... But that's just personal theory...
Don't know why you'd assume honesty
1 Kings 22:23
Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
2 Chronicles 18:22
Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.
Ezekiel 14:9
And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
2 Thessalonians 2:11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie
Well, the Bible is not translated perfectly or differs depending on which version you're looking at, with that said, there is no sin in strategy against evil
Sin is forgivable. But I don't think lying qualifies as a basic sin. Lying is straight up evil. Like think of a good reason to indefinitely withhold information. Religious implications aside, even, there's never a justification. Withholding for a short time I think CAN be justified. But lying about an affair for example? Absolutely.
I personally believe it was the lying that got us kicked out, not so much the eating of the fruit. And every horrible thing in human history can pretty much be attributed to lying. WWI? Started on lies. WWII? Byproduct of lies. Crusades? Religious lies.
Point is, there's no such things as white lies.
Dude, if you knew how much arbitrary lying there was in translation the Bible, your head would spin.
Reading some Mauro Biglino, it's eye opening.
Did you know that "Elohim" is a plural noun that can refer to a grouping of God and his angels or even a grouping of his angels in his absence.
Did you know that God has more than one title in the Hebrew when referred to exclusively from the rest of the elohim?
Did you know that God likes hard liquor, drinks 3-6 litres of wine a day and is even described getting drunk at one point, loves the smell of roasting entrails, and demanded the sacrifice of every Jewish firstborn male, typically under the name "Malach Sabaoth" but also YHWH until ~700 BC, after which you had to ransom them for 15 silver shekels, and that he did it to spite and hurt the Hebrew people so that they would know that he is their God.
Did you know that "kavod" doesn't translate to glory, it translates to heavy armament.
So much more to be found. But essentially, once you get into the old testament in Hebrew, you will have your eyes open.
You have been lied to in some pretty sick ways.
No such thing as "white lies" that on of itself is a lie.
