I just watched a video that said Pres Trump received a full inauguration ceremony on Jan 20, 2021, at Andrews Air Force base, with full honors, 21 gun salute, and "Hail To the Chief" being played. There was a post about this a while ago in here showing Trump getting off Marine 1 to a band playing "Hail to the Chief" while a 21 cannon salute was going off in the background. The poster reasoned that Trump was sworn in on Marine 1 (in the air) similar to the way Lindon B Johnson was sworn in.
Ah...thanks. Military honors are strictly governed by protocols, and a 21-gun salute is reserved for presidents and funerals. The same video says that on that same day, Joe Biden received honors more aligned with a visiting head of state, but NOT the presidency of the US. Hmmm......
Yes. When you watch Biden's cannons, it is a clear 10 second delay in between cannon shots (foreign dignitary salute). However when you watch Trump stepping off Marine 1, you can clearly see and hear 3 second delays in between cannon shots (Presidential Salute). Very interesting indeed....
