Hey, respect where it's due. The French literally saved our bacon. Our revolution probably would not have been able to continue if not for the financing and help of the French. Who, by the way, suffered terrible loss because of helping us.

ThThen to reward us, they sent us a fricken cross-dressed dude statue to say thank you. Lady Liberty is packing some heat unfortunately and the torch is a phallic symbol.

Oh, and top it off the material it's made from probably looked amazing for like two months and now it's just green and leaky...just like french cheese.
