Yup. It's unreal. My daughter's friend is so obviously a girl and the friend was the subject of our conversation. My daughter kept saying, referring to her friend, that "they're doing this," or, "they're doing that." For about 2 seconds I was very confused as to what the hell she was talking about until I realized this friend's of hers used they/them as their preferred pronouns. It would have never gained wings if the public school system didn't support it.
very few places I can talk about this issue honestly... I have a sister that is a trans man.... I love my sister, but she is aware that I view it as mental illness, so we don't speak. because I want to preserve relationships in the family, I steer clear of talking about the issue online when the subject is brought up anywhere that it could get back to a family member. Other than free republic and here I don't post my thoughts online about the trans issues.... This I believe it is common for family members transgender to avoid the subject if they are not ok with it.
My step-daughter wants me to use he/him pronouns so badly, but I refuse. Like you, I love my family member but cannot endorse this behavior. I do my best to substitute pronouns with her name when she's within ear-shot.
Our enemy is cunning and they knew this "trans" movement would divide families. Like a switch Soros et al, activated their public school officials to support this behavior and at the very same time all the big-tech social media sites made it a moral issue. It's criminal. They've attacked and poisoned their minds. I hope everyone poisoned by these ideas can recover.
