This is turning into the "Church Sticky Thread". I'll sticky it every Sunday.
At this point I think the weak points are the churches.
Some are, but not all. Satan wants us to think that all are so we feel overwhelmed and give up. Plus, no church will ever be perfect. We’re humans and humans (even in Christ) will mess up.
Precisely. Even a good preacher doesnt get it 100%. One man did, and that was Jesus. I say listen to many, pray for discernment. God giveth the increase!
There is no substitution for the teaching that comes from the Spirit of God. Where did the Apostle Paul get his teaching? What seminary did he attend? How about Peter and John?
1 John 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
