Yep, it went so far underground that the Earth's core actually melted it all down. That's why we can't find it.
So what really happened to the people on that plane and the plane? Was there never really a flight, just made up people? Or did they kill the people from the flight elsewhere?

I recall the photos of the “debris”, including various parts that were identified as having come from other types of planes. Also the hole later being enlarged via explosion.
