Who says i'm talking solely about Bitcoin? And the only thing you keep holding on to is it being used by criminals, which your precious dollar funds majority of it around the world...with zero transparency, accountability, and unlimited ink.
And there's not a big difference at all. In fact, there is only one...paper money. Remove fiat dollars, then you are effectively stuck with a 100% digital currency...sound familiar?
And you need to look into the technology, not just the names. The tech will live on and be used world-wide, with most the population not even knowing it. Just how the SWIFT system works.

Ah yes this sounds totally benevolent and good for freedom!

Yes i agree but paper money has a trail you can follow. Sometimes it can be covered up but with crypto sure you can trace transactions back to the wallet but who owns the wallet 🤷♂️

Wow, you're really digging into ignorance with this statement.
Please enlighten the rest of us and tell us every aspect about the SWIFT banking system and what makes it all run, how every software and coding line works to make the interwebs function...you see where I'm going with this?

And this is exactly how blockchain technology works. There is technology to both cover your personal privacy while transacting, and also parts of the tech that can make it transparent when needed, aka gov't currency spending (i'm not referring CBDCs here)
Not me! Im talking about all crypto.
Everyone who's misinformed on crypto/blockchain ALWAYS uses bitcoin as the patsy...you weren't fooling anyone.

Why should i be the one to explain it? Youre the one who says its going to be used by every american wether they know it or not. To me that sounds like it could be malevolent in nature.

In other words they control when transactions are private and public. Who controls that decision?

Im not trying to "fool anyone". I said bitcoin because its the most widely known, im sorry i just assumed your pronoun... i mean crypto coin. You think im some leftist shill? Im just a skeptical young conservative, your insults are misplaced.

Because you make it sound like you know everything, and I mean that in a nice manner. My point, it's going to be a transition that will be easy, without disrupting your everyday person and how they transact. In a nutshell, it'll happen just as they swipe their credit/debit card, and nothing more...unless you are a tech person and want to understand it more.

There are immutable smart contracts, oracle services, and co-chains that can be used to implement all of this. They would be public knowledge in how they were done for transparency, but would also be unchangeable after they settle. This also takes away a 3rd person being in control as it'll all be automated. These contracts and services are audited, and can even be thoroughly audited by, lets say the new FED body if you will. There much more to the blockchain technology than most even know about who's not really involved.

You missed my point, and sorry for being brash with my statement. You don't know much about the blockchain technology, and that's why I said what I did.
Its fine if you don't, but don't spread the same talking points around, claiming it a scam and only criminals use it, if you don't understand it.
