Like the time he was pushing people to get into solar panel installs as a good career, I explained how it was a scam that relied on tax payer subsidies, and sure you can make good money but it takes a certain kind of ethics when you know the tech specs.
His justification: "That's irrelevant, it's a good paying career."

telemarketer can be a good paying career as well. same with being an ambulance chasing lawyer, or dirty cop. dealing drugs pays well too
I've known quite a few disabled veterans and others who could literally do no other job but telephone sales or surveys. Instead of sitting at home feeling sorry for themselves, staring at the TV and collecting a govt check, they chose to get out in the work world, do a job that looks easy but isn't, and stimulate the economy. But, they're just as bad as criminals, because they dialed a number to a phone you didn't have to answer.

sorry for the misunderstanding, I was meaning more the telemarketers that engage in fraud and phishing. telemarketing for sales is a difficult job. (I do find the sales calls annoying, not evil. except those auto warrantee ones)
