Can you say to him, “Look, everyone knows something is terribly wrong. Everyone. There’s no disputing that. You don’t have to spend your time understanding it or looking at it and I respect your right not to do so. But never forget there are many millions of people who disagree with you. And you are making a choice to look the other way. You can’t discount something you’ve never looked into. That’s not wisdom, that’s ignorance.”
