I love how msm like "Russia lost"
Putin: "Start the offensive"
If 6 months ago you saw this eventuality there would be no other conclusion than that Russia's army is suffering a monumental humiliation.
It like there National Guard fight. You really think Russia doesn't have the resources to completely destroy Ukraine. That is not Russias plan.
It’s mind-boggling how anyone could think Ukraine could stand up to Russia in any way. First thought that came to my mind when this kicked off was a motorcycle playing chicken with a Big Rig. This not a war by any means. If it was there would have been no more Ukraine as of April maybe March.
Well the Ukraine has been counting on the Kharzian brotherhood of which the USA is obviously apart of to my profound regret.
Yet... here we are... 7 months and tens of thousands of dead soldiers later and Russia has accomplished zero of the pre-war goals they set out for themselves.
Precisely. Americans are used to American warfare: Park a carrier off the coast of 3rd world nation and completely destroy it's infrastructure then play clean up.
The Russians have been much more considerate to the potential civilian & critical infrastructure (I.e. utilities, transport, etc) of the war zone to suggest anything but what you delineated fren.
Yeah Russia basically sent their junior varsity team and they wrecked Ukraine. I noticed early on all the old gear knowing damn well that Russia has a lot of much more modern equipment. It's like they wanted to use up the old stock while they were at it.
100% this. Our rogue government is doing the same, sending our old, obsolete gear that they know will be effectively countered by Russian systems. They then order new gear from their pals at Lockheed, Rand, General Dynamics, etc. Ukraine has gotten our hand-me-downs, pure and simple and their predictable failure against a superior enemy would give them pretext and justification for any escalation.
