My brother just got a new job BUT they are asking him to show proof of vax status. Does anyone have or know what legal references he can use to tell them to fuck off? Any help/advice is appreciated.

I agree with everyone else. Best thing he can do is walk away. If they asked for that, try to get it in writing so that when the Nuremberg trials start, they too can be held accountable. Every single company that pulled this shit needs to be held accountable.
What does the employment contract state that he signed? Read this first. If it is an agreement to reveal vax☠x status, then tell them your religious belief in no vax☠x. Otherwise, It's none of their business. Decline to answer. It's you personal information.
Really its the employers responsibility to invoke this before hiring. It sounds like a technicality they have to go through, to which you can decline to tell them you status. It's a personal issue.
So after I posted this I gave him a call and he said their application had a box that you check basically agreeing to provide proof of vax but he said he went to the interview was offered the job with a time and start date. The guy doing the hiring then called him and asked if he was willing to provide his vax status. I don't know, if it were me I wouldn't have even wasted my time.
The answer should always be no. Corporations are not insured medical practitioner or medical physicians. They have no business asking, period. Your brother should not agree to it. I know the temptation is great for making some money,But this is blackmail. And where does it stop? The CDC is now warning of uncontrolled breakout of STDs. Are corporations now in the position to demand STD info?
Is it required? I finally got a new job at a place that doesn’t require, but they asked me to disclose. I still said I’m not disclosing and they were fine with it!
It’s just as important for YOU to interview THEM before accepting a job. YOU have the skills…do THEY have a reasonable work environment and appreciate your skills?

Right to work means that you can be fired immediately for any reason, good or bad, or no reason at all. It also means that you can quit without notice and with no penalty.

We own a business in Texas and we hire and fire on 'our' terms, not yours. We are a Right to Work State; that means no unions can force their way upon us and no artificial rulez apply such as PC-think. It is our company, we make the rules. We do not owe you a job and if you do not like our terms then pass us by.
I do not have to tell you why I cannot hire you, all I have to do is decline the privilege of hiring you. Same with firing, I don't have to state a reason. And you can quit me same way, just up and adios.
What I'm saying is he has no standing here to argue with whatever we set as standards.
Get a consult from a lawyer. At the very least if they put him in a compromising position that exposes them legally any lawyer would want to take up that case because it's money time.
I reached out when my previous employer came out with the vax mandate so I could work through how to demand my religious exemption. It worked out well, but if it hadn't they would've taken my case to fight back. Worked out even better when I left 2 months later after they approved it, but hey, what can ya do?
