If he was, he wouldn't have needed the Brownshirts.
It seems to be sourced from feelings relating to the powers that be have been lying to us for decades, which I get.
Not sure why some people take that to mean that Hitler wasn't somehow bad, when it seems pretty clear that both sides were pretty shit.
Problem again comes from the fact that nothing is black and white. Not even Hitler.
So when you hear lies in one direction and some of it really easy to dispel (that Hitler always intended to exterminate Jews from the beginning - which can be disproven very easily) immediately the naive truth seeker will be hit with a barrage of lies from the other side - That "Hitler was this wonderful amazing human being who did nothing wrong and has been pained as the vil person."
I personally believe its important for a truth seeker to explore all parts of this equation with an open mind until he has convinced himself that the truth is far more complicated and get a better picture not tainted by lies from either side.
Nazis, however, is far more black and white. Originated from depopulation, completely controlled by the Humanity hating evil elites. So in the end, even if Hitler had any good intentions to begin with, his failure to ensure Nazis were not so badly subverted and infiltrated - should be put squarely on his shoulders.
Especially after seeing Ukraine, any doubts people have about Nazis should be dispelled.
