This is the truth. Most people go chasing after tons of money, but in reality all they want is to be able to retire and spend time with their family. Why is this so? Because of the inflation taxes due to central bank fiat currency. Money in the bank loses value by the day. Either park it in some of their schemes and lose it all at one point, or keep it in cash and watch it bleed.
We gotta keep running the treadmill just to stay in one place. This is the rat race I was talking about. It feels like making millions is the only way to retire.
When we have a system without central banks it will be completely opposite. Savings will hold value. You could work for a few years, invest in some properties or in a small business, and you can live without running on the treadmill constantly.
We will get there fren, we are so close to that goal. Just hang in there.
Well I do want plenty of money to be honest. My mom gambled everything when I was younger, and by the time I was 16 we were losing our house. My dad was working for a broker/dealer back when the stock market was the stock market. He estimated she pissed away around half a million dollars through the years. I think it was probably less though.
