Don't worry, you need to be fierce to keep sharp.
Dont be like me, I'm lackadaisical when it comes to keeping people being exact with what they mean.
I'm not a very precise person. I would make a terrible lawyer.....
Or maybe a very good one.
If your feeling burnt out, take a week out of the trenches.
The only problem with that is, is trying to catch up on the news you missed while away.
Unfortunately it's not like reading a book, you can't put a book mark in it.
Anyway I hope you stay strong, hopefully this will be over soon.
These days, one of my main streams of attention is constitutional, law, both common and Roman, Maritime, etc. From what I'm learning, who would ever want to be a lawyer? Seems like lawyers basically serve the Corporation, not the People.
No, it's not that. It's not being burnt out. I'm way past that. And, it's not something a week or 3 would really impact.
It's more a condition I've recently become aware of. Being immersed in the reality of the truth about the nutcase world day in day out for 5+ years.... Oh, I've had the burn out sure, Numerous times. Any veteran has. And, you take a break, and you come back.
No, it's more that over time, the immersion in the information seems to have affected my outlook in ways previously unexperienced, namely, a very understated, but present, sense of cynicism.
In other words, if I talk about or think about doctors and the medical profession, the first thoughts in my mind are the corruption, the infiltration and malfeasance of big pharma.
It's not that these should be ignored, but they also should NOT be the first and foremost thought in one's mind. Cynicism is essentially a destructive perspective. It focuses on the negative first. But more than ever, considering the reality of the world - and being more and more exposed to that reality via the Great Awakening - one should (or at least I should) tweak my focus to be constructive, building the future.
It's just a normal challenge on the path, but one that I'm now coming to a nuanced awareness of after 5+ years in the trenches.
It's a good awareness. I am by no means burned out.
Either way, your wishes and solidarity are appreciated. I don't think it will be over very soon, and I'm OK with that. I'm in for the long haul. All those who fight in wars for the right reasons are required to sacrifice. It's what we do. We sacrifice ourselves so that those who come after us are in a much, much better place with a better future.
There is no greater value or expression of love and life than to sacrifice for the sake of others.
Stay frosty, Molog.
I think you’re a very good person. Thanks for your input as well.
