What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I live in Arizona, so no leather pants here lol. You’d probably die and pass out wearing them.
Love the long hair Asian look! My brothers live in Japan for 30 years, it’s a beautiful place. Although, I believe the actor that you posted is from Korea.
Androgyny not for me. Different strokes, though...go with whatever floats your boat.
When I was around 18 to 20, I used to tour with all the rock bands. The scorpions, and all the lights. I had a bright yellow leather skirt and a matching yellow jacket. Leather! My friend and I saw so many bands, met so many rock stars, and we had a blast. We weren’t the type that had sex with people, but we had our own drugs plenty of them! We came really good friends with the crew from the scorpions and some of their management. The fact that we didn’t sleep around, and we had lots of drugs, they thought we were pretty cool. When other parents would be in town, the management people would contact us and ask us if we want backstage passes to specific concerts. We’ve met iron maiden, Randy Rhoads before he died, the scorpions, Ronnie James Dio, iron maiden, AC/DC, Bon Jovi we got to sing on stage with, and the list goes on and on. We also got to meet Van Halen right before the first album came out. Two kids from my school knew them, and somebody that worked for them. We went to the whiskey a gogo on New Year’s Eve, and I sat on the stage and watched Van Halen play I have the pictures to prove it. It was pretty bad ass stuff! Lots of leather, living in Huntington Beach and LA! Back when California was cool ! One of my friends bands that was getting popular at the time, use the same rehearsal space as Yngwie Malmsteen. One of my favorite memories is sitting on a couch, getting high with my best friend, and watching Yngwie Malmsteen practice. Also got to meet Michael Schenker! Fun times!
Everyone in the scorpions organization were legit! They were awesome people. We took some of the sound crew and the lighting crew to Huntington Beach, we drove around and went to Disneyland. They were just so awesome. That’s why we were always invited back, because we cared about the crew not just being with the band. The band was great also, but we didn’t try and hover over them or try to get their attention. To be perfectly honest, we would sit backstage and wait for them to come talk to us. They called us the California girls! I was really into photography so we would work our way up to the front, and I’ve got lots of great photographs. That I actually ended up giving to them personally. We sat in a bar one night after a show, and we showed him all the pictures because we got them developed within an hours time by the next day. It was actually some of the funnest times of my life.
Let’s see… People that we met like Ronnie James Dio Rob offered from Judas Priest, we’re pretty cool and laid-back. But it wasn’t it shows that they were playing, they just happen to show up.
The one person that we never gave the time of day she was Bon Jovi. He was so stuck up and conceded. We never even bothered looking him in the eye, or ever saying hi to him. It was just a complete waste of time. He just had bad energy. When we got to seeing on stage with him it was a joke. The scorpions had a bunch of girls run up on stage, and take over their mics, because it was the last show of the tour. So they would do fun stuff like that to each other. I have to admit it was pretty amazing being up there, however once we saw all the people my friend and I ran off the stage. We were done.
Of course Inveigh mom Steen, and Michael Shanker were awesome. But that was also because we met them at shows they were not playing, so I think they’re much more laid-back and chill.
I would say Van Halen was pretty cool as well, but they weren’t quite as big as they got. And my friend knew their bus driver, and so we were just kind of there on a New Year’s Eve, but it was a really big show for them because they were just getting big. But they were all pretty chill and fun to be around.
It was the 80s, living in Huntington Beach and in the Los Angeles area in the 80s was the best. Drugs were not a huge taboo yet, we could actually do Coke while sitting outside at a club, because we were just keep it in our compact mirror. I did a lot of drugs growing up. Did a lot of acid in my teens, I mean heck we live right down the The road from Timothy Leary. He was living in Laguna Beach at the time.
Things have changed so much in every way possible, but I’m not tooting my horn because of all the drugs I did and all the fans a party with. A lot of fun had occurred, but a lot of bad things happen to you in my life. I’m just glad that all that led me to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is the one I’m rocking out to now! He’s the one that cheers me up, so I’m just gonna go on tour with Jesus! The women’s Bible study I go to is lit! They do deep dives into the Bible it’s not tea and scones!
All those years I was just searching for happiness, and I could not find it anywhere in the world. Sure I had a few good times, but what I have now is peace joy and love and I’m grateful for that. Contentment whatever that means.
