What exactly was Voat? What made this aggregate site special that it became such a prevalent site for anons during its time? What's the story of how it was infiltrated and eventually shut down?
I've been asking these questions to myself over the course of my time here, and while I'm fairly confident about the third question (one word, in fact!), I know next to nothing about Voat itself since I was still a teen normie during its height.
Now, I'm not just asking for straight answers here, frens. What I'm really after is where I can properly research about Voat without getting things wrong from disinformation. Thanks!
God wins.
I followed on Voat until it stopped. 1by1 every site that showed the Q drops was shut down, or got taken over by shills. Finally Voat went down also. That is how I ended up here. Just hoping that this site doesn't go the way of the dodo like the others.
Q made us a board there. We all went and posted our research until it closed Christmas eve 2020. The final.page was a Bible verse. The same verse Pompeo posted as his last as Sec of State. That is all.
I see... so much of the content was practically anons piecing together Q drops and other relevant info (which of course led to Racine)?
Oh heavens no. If reddit is a left wing cluster fuck of liberal ideologies, voat was its’ antithesis. Racist, jew hating bunch of ride or die niggerfaggots.
God bless. Your description tells me you were in that trench. Miss it some, also dont.
We answered the questions with open source info. Over time, a 40,000 foot view developed for many of us and more puzzle pieces naturally fell together. The world is way more evil than almost anyone is willing to believe and everything has been orchestrated for a very long time. Its been an arduous journey and we have made many bad predictions in our honest search for truth, but here we are, our researchers are everywhere, our research is archived offline everywhere, and we can not be fooled anymore as we no longer belong in their matrix. If we're all crazy, how did we all arrive at the same conclusions? We learned we are adults with brains and a responsibility to humanity and here we are again. Nothing can stop us, we are the army of God. Lol.
And He sent frogs...
Q used the Socratic method. Have you read the posts?
When I first heard of Q I decided to do some research and found Voat. So much insight that I was hooked immediately. Very grateful for Voat and all the Anons there, and now, here.
It was a sewer, but for a while it was our sewer.
The migration from Reddit to voat was something I'll never forget. Folks had to get used to free speech, some adjusted better than others.
Had some great conversations on voat. Good memories.
But Voat was one step up from the Chans, yes? (From one goat to another.)
Or down. Depends on perspective.
I never went to voat. Went from reddit to the Donald, then patriots and lastly here. All of them were great but this is my favorite.
