It's a nothingburger. Read the fking text, all it's doing is ending a requirement for autopsy following fetal death. Which like, idk, could save money. But also I do think it is very important to know why babies are dying en utero.
FYI, the purpose of this bill is to decriminalize use of addictive drugs while pregnant. A different form of this bill was created after two women were criminally prosecuted because their babies were born drug addicted and died of withdraw shortly thereafter. The politicians behind it -- and the state attorney general -- said it was horrible that women were being persecuted for the death of the babies. That original bill was HORRIFYING. That bill was shot down and was resurrected as this one.
*edit to add: I wanted to explain where the hyperbolic title came from. The original bill did ban all autopsies and investigations on babies under 30 days old (maybe it was 20 days, I don't remember all the details now). It was basically a giveaway to the satanists to mutilate newborns with no fear of any consequences. That language seems to have been removed from this bill; investigations and autopsies can be launched, but now that they are not mandatory, it will be a lot easier for the satanists to be more open with their activities now that they can evade an autopsy/investigation. Here is an article about the original bill: https://californiaglobe.com/articles/infanticide-or-pregnancy-loss-abortion-bill-passes-assembly-judiciary-committee/
Oh, I understand the consequences of this becoming law would be gigantic, just nowhere near the earth-shattering level that would have occured in the circumstances declared in the title.
SIDS was invented to cover-up the fact that vaccines kill babies.
