Why didnt they hang him from a doorknob? I have always wondered why he was allowed to live.

I remember Mel, recently saying, that the reason he talks even more plainly now is because many of the people who would have went out of their way to hurt him, or worse....have died. And basically he outlasted his enemies with age. It’s interesting.
