I think healthy skepticism is always warranted. With that said, Thomas Sowell was a Marxist, once upon a time, and he is one of the greatest conservative thinkers, writers, and contributors in the last several decades. I'm not comparing Candace to Sowell. I'm only making the point that people can and do change.

And many of us here were once very different than we are now too.

A person’s actions today are what matter most. At the same time, trust is neither absolute nor unwavering - we should always be cautious and never blindly trust anyone, even Trump.

But then everyone here already gets that, I think.
