What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
What are people doing to continuously improve themselves?
Reading my Bible daily, exercising daily, and being ever so grateful for what I have.
Yep me too, about to step away for about a week to a place in SE Okla. where my daddy grew up. Get away and refresh my brain in the woods. π²π²π²πππ

Broken bow, my dad grew up in eagletown. Always went down there as a child way before everything was built up. Still a beautiful place to be
It's beautiful and hilly down there. :) Have a blessed week!
Yes it is πty sister
Ring Fit Adventure. It's life changing. I like jogging and I like weights, so the idea of body weight exercises and girly floor work always seemed retarded
Well sure enough turn girly floor exercises into a Japanese role playing game and you've got me hooked.
I've been doing it for a little over a month, about 20-30 minutes a day. I'm burning 300-500 calories according to my Garmin and there's days I feel kinds of sore I've never felt before
I am currently learning a new language.

I am learning Japanese. I started using this site: wanikani.com, which provides online drills to learn the vocabulary. From what I understand, I need to learn something like 6000 alphabet in their pictographic kanji writing.
I am less than a third way in, but i am enjoying it immensely. Great way to keep the brain active and engaged. Also, it realised recently that I can understand simple japanese text and can even follow some youtubers.
God DAMN I need to finish learning fucking hiragana, move on to katakana and get a few hundred kanji under my belt. But nooooooo, I keep getting bust with the 9 billion other things I have to do in life. UGH
My brothers lived in Japan for 30 years. Basically heβs Japanese now. My mom lived there for 10, and my daughter studied Japanese in college, and lived in Japan for a year. Itβs a beautiful country, a beautiful language and a great people. The thing about learning Japanese, is it so in depth, and a lifelong journey. Enjoy it
Science has testified that a small amount..small..glass of fortified wine....port or sherry works better than mind puzzles for the brain....and enjoyable tooππ
