The HUNT to explain this "rogue Russian submarine" is on. Does this theory hold any water at all for you? (see comments)

If certain hidden assets were exposed in order to blow up some Russian pipelines underwater, would not an underwater hunt be on now by the Russians and their allies for those hidden assets?
Flip the script.
In the book/film The Hunt For Red October, the Russians were both the good guys and the bad guys. You had a rogue Russian sub trying to defect while the other Russian sub desperately tried to sink it before contact with the Americans could be achieved.
No, Russia did not blow up their own pipeline. The 'missing' Russian nuclear sub is now part of the hunt for the assets that blew up the pipeline. The asset/s that accomplished that destructive mission was likely 1 or more submarines. Whatever it was, it did not operate on the surface of the ocean.
The 'hunters' of the Nordstream pipelines are now the 'hunted'.
There's a massive hunt underway underneath the surface of the ocean to find and take down whoever committed this act of war against the Russian Federation.
You're already watching Red October unfold, but nobody is really explaining to you what's going on.

Assuming the pipeline was actually blown up to begin with....
So far, all we got are a lot of bubbles on the surface of some water in a pic.
I said exactly this a few days ago! You wonder, hey
USS Kearsarge LHD-3 and a bunch of its helis (or ones from other escorts) were near to the locations of the explosions as it happened.
From the wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Kearsarge_(LHD-3)
I've seen estimates that the depth of the pipeline where it was breeched was about 90m, and it would take a torpedo-sized payload of explosives to make the hole, or the equivalent in placed charges. Well within the capability of the ship.
If the captain and senior command on that vessel all 'mysteriously die' within a short amount of time, take it as confirmation they were the asset. You better believe someone like Milley would order them killed if he was worried they would squeal.
I was thinking charges were set likely by seals during the exercises a few weeks earlier and detonated by the P8 that was tracked there that day.
Need more popcorn...

I wonder if the other side of that sub has 9 windows too.
Those are vent holes for the ballast tanks. When you let the water in, the air has to go out.
I SAID POPCORN, wide eyes and mouth full!! Man o manicheivits
Chris Plante listener?
That sub is seriously bad-ass. Like something out of 20,000 Leagues.

Looking at a map, I see Russia is pretty much landlocked. Interesting the pipeline runs through that Baltic Sea area and any submarine attackers would have to squeeze past Denmark to get back into the North Sea. It’s kind of a one way street.
Where did the Russian sub launch from? Which way would it go? My bet, the North Sea. Because there’s nowhere else for the pipeline attackers to run away too.
But North Korea just launched a missile the other direction past Japan.. what were they shooting at? How fast can these subs move? Did they run up through the arctic sea and make a run to the East? Very interesting…
There is a Russian submarine base on the Kola peninsula near Murmansk. Clear sailing into the Arctic Ocean. A combat submarine is not equipped for underwater detective work. And it is far from a nimble customer in shallow littoral waters like the Baltic Sea.
North Korea launched its missile in nearly the only direction available to it, because it would be all kinds of bad news to launch it east (Russia or China).
The two are only calendar coincidences. There is no connection between them. Somebody, somewhere was born that day. Somebody, somewhere died that day. Somebody farted. Somebody got a windfall. They were all coincidences. But they were not connected.
