That's an interesting thought
Given that the u.s. has many operating posts there of which I'm sure many "off the books" projects occur at, and additionally the u.s. claiming the center of it as well. Also given the unusual visits of high ranking officials to what is otherwise a big chunk of ice, and the very strange agreement between countries to enforce strict visitation rules. Also, the history of the place -- nazi interest, admiral byrd -- and one of the parts being named after Rockefeller.
Definitely would be curious as to the response. I believe antartica, even sans whatever the fuck we're actually doing there, is a treasure trove of history, information, and resources. That for some reason the powers at be don't want optics on.

the Russian sub is in the Arctic, which is North
the Rockefeller mountain range is in Antarctica, which is South
but both are hidden from us
