I think that's right. We were at the lake on the bluff side when it happened to me....I had to jump off the bluff fully clothed and then had to swim across to the other side to get out. Got out naked because that stuff was too heavy
Apparently it isn't a good idea to ever post a pic of any firearm with the serial number evident. Apparently, someone can claim that they had lost that serial number due to theft and it then becomes your problem with law enforcement to prove that you are the lawful owner. I don't know how credible this scenario is, especially if you have the receipts and BATF form filed with the FFL that you purchased it from, however if this is a person to person transfer, if you have no paperwork, then it becomes very convoluted and it sounds like you would have to hire a lawyer to fight it in court. Either way, I don't think posting pictures of a gun collection or a firearm is something you would want to post anywhere on the internet.
Opsec is so tight in my AOR even IM not sure if or how many firearms I may have.
A dear friend once told me if you can tell me how many guns you have, you don't have enough.

Bad sunburn.
I can't even remember which ones, maybe all of them, that I lost during my canoe accident a few years ago.
I haven't been over there in years. Forgot all about gunday, you could read serial numbers in some of those posts. Not good .
