This is one of those lingering questions that we're all waiting excitedly to see what's revealed. I'm curious what everyone thinks will be revealed once the Vatican's basement is finally opened up.
Personally, and here me out here, I'm of the opinion/belief that there's a literal demon or two chained up in the basement and that's where all of this witchcraft and other evil "magic" crap the cabal practices comes from. If you think about it, it makes sense. Solomon summoned and bound 72 demons and then forced them to explain the inner workings of hell to him. So why wouldn't someone with more nefarious intents do something similar but extract knowledge on how to extend the human life/youth (Adrenochrome), manipulate the masses (Mass formation Hypnosis), create drugs that cause more problems than they solve (Pharmaceuticals), cause wars at the drop of a hat, etc. etc.
Plus, this lines up with the whole "Great Awakening" and Christian themes, as well as the prophesized mass resurgence of Christianity on a nationwide, and global scale by people like Kem Clement.
What else could cause people to turn back to God like we've never seen before, like undeniable, definitive proof of the existence of demons, the afterlife, and by extension, God, Jesus, The Holy, spirit, and Heaven?
I can't think of much else short of a literal miracle from God broadcast on a global scale. So that's my two cents on the topic. Of course I'm sure we'll find other things. Hordes of "lost artifacts" like nazi gold, lost books of the Bible, heck, we'll probably find the contents of the Library of Alexandria down there somewhere.
But I think the most earth shattering thing will be a literal demon or two chained up and bound in some esoteric ceremony that these people are using as a source of their knowledge. Afterall, we can't forget about that time that the Catholic Church's head exorcist, literally talked about the devil living in the Vatican can we?
I don't know anything about that. I just don't buy the capturing demons nonsense. They are from a different dimension so nothing physical can capture them. They can influence people but that is all they can do. People have to "pull the trigger" so to speak. We have free will so God cannot force us to seek Him. At the same time demons cannot force us to follow them. An example would be people thinking they sold their soul to the devil. They may have gone through some ritual and received some power but they did not sell their soul. They have been deceived. Their soul is not something that belongs to them that they can sell. We have free will and that is something that cannot be taken away. If they could sell their souls they would no longer have free will.
According to the Bible, the "soul" consists of the functions of the mind (Ps. 139:14, the soul "knows"), the feelings (S. of S. 1:7, the soul "loves"), and the will (Job 6:7, the soul "refuses). Our soul consists of what we're thinking, feeling, and choosing. It changes through the day and our life long. After we've received Christ into our spirit, the apostle Paul tells us that we need our mind renewed (Rom 12:2). That affects everything else. Our soul is more like a function than an object.
When people talk about selling their souls they are saying they belong to Satan. That is the lie. We always have free will
Actually, we are born with our soul belonging to Satan. That's why Jesus told Peter, Get behind me Satan. It's only through His sacrifice that we now, again, have a choice. We no longer serve sin as slaves.
Jesus said that to Peter because Peter was scared of what Jesus said. Satan used that fear to encourage Peter to tempt Jesus. Peter was not interested in God's will but was only interested in his own will. He was tempting Jesus to reject God's will.
Satan owns nothing. He is only the father of lies and nothing else.
Matthew 16:21-23 21 From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”
An example of God speaking through someone when that person thought he was speaking on his own can be found in John 11 49-51.
49 Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! 50 You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”
51 He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,
