Jesus Predicts His Death
21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
God is all powerful, surely he could have killed all these elders and priests that want to do Him harm. So why would he need to go and be tortured and killed. He must show the people. His sacrifice and his subsequent resurrection was what cemented the teachings of Christ for over 2000 years. Imagine a story being retold over and over again and spreading from a tiny town in Jerusalem to the four corners of the world. Nowhere has the story of Jesus resurrection not been heard. That is quite some feat if you think about it.
So why wouldn't Trump intentionally lose the election and be reinstated. Obviously he's not Christ but the symbolism is quite similar.
Dangerous way to link scripture to a modern politician.
I see too many people crossing the line with Trump.
Do I trust him, yea. Do I agree with everything has done? No
Linking him to a Christ-like figure is dangerous as hell
I hear your concern and it’s valid. I also mention I’m not saying that he is Christ or anything like that. Just that the “plan” (losing on purpose) has been done before.
On a side note, imagine you’re in the time of Christ and Jesus is walking around saying he’s son of God. Would you call him a blasphemer? At what point would you be like oh yea he’s the son of god instead of “that’s dangerous for any man to call himself God? God would never allow himself to be flogged by those evil Romans?”
Just a thought. No contention intended.
Not to link scripture to a politician but just saying there’s precedent. We can disagree
Modern politicians represent the very evil those scriptures tried to warn us about.
Doing 5 rallies/day is not compatible with losing "on purpose". Knowing that they would steal it no matter what he did is likely but he made them work as hard as they've ever worked in their lives in order to take it from us.
I still think God chose Trump. He chose wisely ( of course )
Jesus said he could call on 12 legions of angles to protect him.....
But that wasn't the plan.
Good way to subtly plant a seed for the enemy right here.
I've seen and heard more blasphemous and heretic things surrounding this one man probably in my entire 43 years of being on this earth.
Just shows the hour we're truly in.
