Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.

My husband has never been a great sleeper and since I'm such a light sleeper, I wake up when he goes to the bathroom at night. We've been awake since 2:40. A pop-up thunderstorm hit for a few minutes after that. The lightning and thunder kept us up.
It catches up with me far more easily than it does him. My brain needs more sleep!
Have you tried the Clif High's puresleep? People keep saying it really works (I have never tried myself)
Personally, I have this very weird trick that I learnt from ancient Hindu scriptures. Laugh if you want, but for me it works like magic everytime.
Just put some massage oil on your feet and rub it in a little bit just before you go to sleep. Dont blame me if it doesnt work for you!
Magnesium works wonders for people who can't sleep ..we all need magnesium...nutmeg works too but just a scrape on the greater..it's very powerful stuff..put it in your cocoa Or go online look up accupressure points for sleep ..they work well. Use it myself
If I have trouble falling asleep, I think about getting up and doing something. Next thing I know, I’m waking up to pee. Works like a charm😴

Okay, I’m jealous! We get very few “pop up thunderstorms”. We need water, badly.
It has been really dry here lately. We needed it.
I have been wearing earplugs for the exact reason you mention, and it helps me not wake up as often.
I have also been taking melatonin for the last few months, sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. Less often I do GABA, valerian, or magnesium. I usually don't notice much results from any of those.
Thank you so much!! I try melatonin, and like it does for you, it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. My sleep just goes in phases.
