It's not a question of him being a stroke survivor, it's a question of him not being man enough to admit he's not fit for office. He's putting himself before his potential constituents -- and for this he is fair game.
My own father had a stroke and I spent many years taking care of him. I know what it's like -- and I would never have advocated that my father continue to run for an office he was ill-equipped to handle.
I, unfortunately, believe that the fact he hasn’t bowed out is a white hat move to tip the race to Oz.
There’s apparently no way for a replacement candidate to be put on the ballot now. I was honestly hoping midterms wouldn’t happen considering our choices for Senate here in PA.
I am sorry to hear about your father’s stroke. But you and I appear to be in the majority of what people—and even official GOP accounts—are saying in terms of why this man is unfit for office.
It’s likely too soon for him to return, but I do feel something massive will be dropped right before the midterms.
There’s still people in PA who think Fetterman and Shapiro aren’t liars, thieves, and criminals. And that’s a problem for the midterms.
Well, to be fair, Fetterman is having a little trouble being a liar, or much of anything else, at the moment. 😋
TBI survivor here.
As much as the man is a crook, I’m getting really tired of everyone using him as a stroke victim punching bag.
