Which president of Microsoft grow up in Racine? If you are referring to Brad Smith, he actually grew up in Appleton not Racine. 2 hours drive time away.
Brad Smith grew up in Racine before moving to Appleton.
Wisconsin native Brad Smith was named president and chief legal officer of the Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft on Friday.
Smith, 56, lived in both Racine and Appleton growing up. He graduated from Appleton West High School, then went on to Princeton University and Columbia University School of Law. He studied international law and economics at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was an associate and then partner at the Washington, D.C., firm Covington and Burling. He joined Microsoft in 1993 and became general counsel in 2002.
Ok I'll accept that. Seems he was pretty young in Racine. But then I don't know much about the Racine story. My good friend is from Kenosha but he is asleep and wouldn't know squat about Racine either!
