How is distilled water toxic? Where does this article say so?
For the record, I own two stainless steel countertop distillers that turn my tap water into distilled water. It takes 5.5 - 6 hrs. per gallon.
I use my homemade distilled water for everyday drinking water, for soups, rice, tea, coffee and any other drink or food that requires water. My family and I have been using it for 2 1/2 yrs (since early COVID), exclusively. No ill effects that I can see.
Distilled water is the only water that's boiled which is what your supposed to do with bad water ! Put reg bottled water in a iron or coffee pot and see the corrosion, that's why you need to use distilled water in irons . The white properties thst come out of an iron using reg water is a nightmare but there are also trace amounts of a rust type properties which stains clothes , that's why distilled is best and the only water I Drink ! ! I use to do preventive medicine years ago .. ( prevent the need for medicine ) kept people from using pharmaceutical drugs or weened them off drugs including insulin!
I have changed careers and now and i work with what is between the ears of people rather than their bodies , so I will admit I haven’t researched distilled water lately but I use to only recommend distilled ! Boiling water kills anything bad , you can always add whatever properties you want such as calcium magnisium etc but swallowing a chug of liquid is easier !
Wth is this lol. Boiled water is the best water to drink. And if you reverse osmosis it’s even better. I promise you the egg you eat made in a pan or the stake you eat grilled are more toxic than distilled water.
Fun fact, any water exposed to ambient air is already contaminated by air particles carrying toxins, debris and other particles.
I only use distilled water to make bone broth because of it's powerful leaching abilities. It leaches all the wonderful minerals right out of the bones for me.
Also, unless I've overlooked it, I haven't seen anything about distilled water in this pic. They are looking at tomato sauce. Tomato is highly corrosive. The reason you never want to buy tomatoes canned in metal.
Actually it is corrosive. Many canned goods are still safe after the expiration date, but tomatoes in cans are one of those things you never want to eat past the date because the date was mainly determined by the effects of the tomato on the metal. We can eat tomatoes just fine. But tomatoes and metal are a real problem.
Tomatos and metal arent the problem.
Its tomatoes, metal, and TIME.
Literally what I just explained ffs. You obviously had no understanding of what I posted and had to go look it up. Then you repeated what I just explained as if to save face. Do you know why we don't put tomato in cast iron? Do you even cook?
You will taste the metal in your food, it will draw it out. never put acids in cast iron. Obviously the longer it cooks in it, the worse the effect will be.
The second one states: "In all experiments, the amounts released were below known allergy-triggering thresholds." Doesn't mention what those thresholds are though.
Not sure I would assign any importance to this info, but guess I learned a little bit.
Also, wouldn't the metal/minerals stay in the pan and out of the water vapor? If these metals stay in the vapor, we are just as hosed using rain water, or any water in general....
It's just like a swimming pool. If the water is depleted of minerals such as calcium it will pull those minerals out of the surface and destroy it. Now put that in your body.
By distilled water, did you mean to say tomato sauce?
Hahaha!

Can you give a link? I need sauce🤣

Our RO unit does not remove fluoride so we use an Alexapure stainless steel unit to filter out the fluoride that's left after RO.
There you go. You are doing all you need.

Tomato is not highly corrosive.
Its safe enough to eat.

Tomatos are a really weak acid so it takes really long for it to begin to mess with the metal. Its sensible to keep them canned for a duration.
This is why we dont see canned LEMON JUICE, thats waaay more acidic. Or canned vinegar.

Why dont you put tomato in cast iron? So that there's no leeching?

Am betting just a clickbait headline.
Leeching is NOT a new phenomenon.
"Roman empire, lead pipes." Weve known leeching for millenia
