Sports bras and athletic shirts made by some of the major global sports brands were found to contain dangerous levels of the estrogen-mimicking chemical bisphenol A, commonly known as BPA, posing a considerable risk to people’s health, according to legal notices sent by the Center for Environmental Health.

I have long believed they were adulterating our foods, but now it appears there is nothing you can trust.
You buy organic to keep the kids hormone free, and chemical free, but even that has no guarantee it is really free of contaminants.
...the only guarantee is that there are no guarantees....
...I buy vintage clothing on ebay....

Shit, I’ve gotten into funky double knit polyester lately, even that’s probably more natural than clothes these days!
...disco inferno baby....

And for some reason, it seems like the military is the testing ground. I recall in the 1970s, it was a persistent rumor that the military adding saltpeter to the chow of young service members to keep libidos in check.
Even if it was not true, the persistent rumors of it sure seem to have spawned ideas to actually use military personnel for experiments.
Everything is out to make us sick or kill us no wonder I'm getting so paranoid.
...even paranoiacs have real enemies....
Something something….don’t mean they’re not after you…
The manufacturers may not be the source of the problem...this may be occurring as the cloth is produced. That possibility has serious implications for the entire clothing industry.
...precisely...
Chem trails, vaccines, clothing, water additives, toothpaste, GMO food, fast food, makeup, soaps, cleaners, all are causing early deaths and health problems. Look how much money has been spent on health research, especially cancer, with no cure. Doesn’t it make you wonder if they are researching cures or ways to make you suffer, end your life and provide more financial remuneration to the medical industry. Eradicating health care problems will never occur as long as the aforementioned practices are in place.
...absolute ironclad truth....
I have always been suspicious of polyesters for shirts. One thing for sure though, it is always good advice to wash new clothes before wearing them.
You have a link for that dog? I would like to pass the information on to some friends and family.

"To date, CEH’s investigations have found BPA in polyester-based clothing with spandex, including socks made for infants."
Avoid polyester, got it.
"BPA can be added in the manufacturing of polyester as an intermediary step to improve the natural properties and lifespan of a fabric. In the production of polyester fabric, BPA can be used to create hygroscopic and antistatic fabric with color fastness to washing. BPA and other bisphenols may be used as dye-fixing agents for polyester and polyamide textiles. Furthermore, BPA can be used in the production of flame retardants, fungicides, antioxidants and in PVC production. And it may also be used in spandex production for antistatic properties."
This sounds like it is nothing new.
...they could spay this on any fabric....
