Would love to see literally any evidence to support that happening. Can anyone name a single instance where that has occurred besides vague warnings?

How else can you link TG to several people being poisoned? It would have to have been used to locate them

You think that would-be-assassins require freaking telegram to track you? If you're important enough to be on the DS radar to the point that it warrants them placing a hit on you, they don't need TG to accomplish that.

Edit: And again, who's been poisoned and where's the proof that it has occurred?
