I wonder about this piece of the plan. Have always believed Xi is a good guy playing a bad guy, but can’t figure out why he’s dumping the people the Chinese people feel are the good guys. Unless Chinese people are way behind in the Great Awakening surge and are still thinking those they feel ARE the good guys, Xi is firing them because are actually the BAD guys. Gets very confusing when you talk to someone Chinese.

Definitely this. A lot of Chinese folks, especially well to do upper middle class and above are just like the typical tech worker in US - very brainwashed. I would bet however that the rural folks might be more awake. No way to know, everything we hear about China comes either via media or via chinese expats.
The rural folks are even worse, sad to say. CCP propaganda has historically done a number on them and the modern Chinese culture is quite selfish. Really this is the case with most non-Christian cultures but the cultural revolution definitely toppled the good aspects (courtesy et al.) of traditional Chinese culture, and they don't seem to be coming back anytime soon in the mass consciousness.
Smart people can fall into the "I know everything" group. They are above others and they will tell you that people are stupid. Their elevated sense of self-worth is very irritating. And don't even start with God or Jesus. To a T they will tell you it was all made up and there is no God.
Satanists rule this world and Satan hates all mankind. That is the reality that they will not/can not understand.
Most likely explanation is that he's a guy whose interests do not align with ours and he's working in no way to benefit us, but instead to empower himself and his loyalists, who are probably not good guys at all.
It's possible that there's something more positive, but if you look all through history and the motivations of people in power throughout all time and institutions, the above is way more of a likely scenario.
China's leadership benefits from not throwing off the chains that shackle our citizens or theirs. That's the reality. There is a possibility for alternate motivations, and hopefully they come to pass, but until there's real evidence I would err on the side of probability.

Agree completely and one of the many reasons I left silicon valley.
